What the shop can actually do

Sizes, tolerances, lead times and the honest limits. If your job is outside these, say so and we will tell you who in Pittsburgh does it properly.

Send a drawing, or a photograph

We read DWG, DXF, PDF and the back of an envelope. Architects send us a detail and let us work out the connections. Homeowners send a photo of something they saw and liked.

Both are fine. Either way you get a shop drawing to sign off before any steel is cut, with the sizes and the finish written on it, so there is no argument later.

Who we work with

Architects

Send us the detail and we will work out the connections, then send shop drawings back for your stamp. We are used to being the last trade on site and the first one blamed.

Builders

We measure once the opening is formed, not off the plan, so our lintels and beams fit the hole that exists.

Homeowners

Yes, we will make one gate. Yes, you can come to the shop and look at samples. No, there is no minimum order, and no, we will not be rude about it.
